Avon

Avon Avon

Admittance date: 16th March 2025

Avon was hand caught on the landing of a flat in the West Midlands and taken immediately to a local vets for assessment. As well as quite bad mange (particularly on her legs and tail) she is also suffering from diarrhoea and has been prescribed/given a worming tablet in the hopes that this is being caused by worms. Time will tell and we're monitoring this to see if there is any improvement.

04/04 - following a visit to the vets earlier this week, Avon has been prescribed some medication for a suspected gastrointestinal infection, which was originally brought to our attention due to the presence of small spots of blood in her poo. She's almost finished on this medication, and she's completely fine in herself otherwise/makes it clear she does not like to be handled (required 2 of us at the vets to hold her still). We're quite happy that she should be good to go home following completion of her medication (this weekend) and will be ready to go back home.
